Arthritis is the condition in which joints get inflamed. The main reason for arthritis is breaking down the protective cartilage between your joints. Stiffness and pain of the joints is the main symptoms of arthritis. The main two types of arthritis are Rheumatoid arthritis and oseteoarthritis. Coconut or Mustard oil

Castor oil

Another home remedy found useful in relieving pains in the joints is the use of castor oil. Green gram soup

Treatment with green gram soup has been found beneficial in arthritis. One table spoon full of green gram and two cloves of garlic is used to allow boiling in a cup of water and this home remedial juice should be taken twice daily.

Lime Juice

Lime is found to be one of the best home remedies for arthritis. Uric acid is the main cause for some types of arthritis. Lime is rich in citric acid, which is a solvent of uric acid. Drinking one lime juice in a glass of water especially in the early morning will resolve the issue of arthritis due to uric acid.

Potato Juice

Cut a medium sized potato into slices along with skin and immerse the slices in a glass of cold water in a night and allow it to stand for overnight. This perfect home remedy for arthritis may be taken once a day, preferably first thing in the morning.


Garlic contains an essential anti-inflammatory property that relates for its effectiveness in the arthritis therapy. You can use the garlic either raw or cooked.

Dietary Considerations

Apart from using the afore-said arthritis home remedies, the arthritis sufferer’s diet should be planned in a way that it should induce alkalinity in the blood. Hence inclusion of vegetables and fruits in the form of salads along with at least three cooked vegetable will solve your dietary problems.

In chronic cases, it is highly advisable to provide raw vegetable juice treatment thrice daily for one week to the arthritis patient.
